Start with Patagonia. You may think Patagonia is expensive. That is, until you take a 10 year old jacket that you hammered back in for a full exchange on a brand new one. I’ve dont this with at least 10 pieces of technical and non-technical gear / clothing. They NEVER say anything but, “Sure, what would you like to replace it with?”. Unreal. And int the long run, a much better value than most.
